Deer hunters in Illinois will be busy this weekend, as the first firearm hunting weekend begins this Friday and continues through Sunday. For our constituents who have been waiting for this technology option, it is here now. Digital driver’s licenses now work in Illinois for IPhone users, and early in 2026 they will be available for Samsung and Google devices. Please note that due to high demand, there have been delays in accessing the system during this first week.

ASSISTED SUICIDE BILL
The House Republican Caucus is urging Governor Pritzker to veto Senate Bill 1950, which would legalize physician-assisted suicide in our state. While we recognize the importance of compassionate end-of-life care, we believe SB1950 poses serious ethical, medical, and societal risks.
