AROUND THE DISTRICT
I had the privilege this week of traveling all around District 105 and visiting with local leaders and constituents while also enjoying some of the great businesses and tourist attractions in our district.
I enjoyed visiting the Ronald Reagan Museum and Peace Garden at Eureka College and talking with President Dr. Jamel Wright. The Peace Garden includes a bust of the 40th President and a section of the Berlin Wall.
Also on the itinerary was a trip to the western part of District 105 to the Woodford State Fish and Wildlife Area. Following a wonderful lunch at Stringtown BBQ in Washburn, our group headed to the District Office in Pontiac. Destinations in Pontiac included the large Route 66 mural downtown and Wally’s truck stop off I-55.
District 105 is filled with wonderful people, businesses, and places to visit, and I am honored to be your State Representative!
