The April 8 solar eclipse is almost here. Don’t forget to protect your eyes with approved eclipse glasses if you plan on watching the rare event. You can pick up the glasses at Rep. Tipsword’s office at 305 W. Madison St. in Pontiac. Staff and volunteers have also been dropping off glasses at various locations including the Flanagan and Pontiac Public Libraries and the Pontiac Rec. Center.
