The Governor has agreed to sign an extension of the Invest in Kids scholarship program…if the legislature sends him a bill. Rep. Tipsword and other House Republicans have filed HB 4105 that would entirely eliminate the program’s sunset provision, so its now up to Democrats in the General Assembly to do the right thing.
We can give children across Illinois the opportunity to attend the schools that meet their needs by continuing this important program. We have two short weeks of Veto Session to get this done!
