House Republican lawmakers held a press conference in the Capitol earlier this week to discuss the dire state of public safety in Illinois and present their pathway forward, which is delivering a state where families can succeed. While Illinois Democrats push pieces of legislation to legalize prostitution and rehabilitate skunks, they fail to address our state’s real issues. We will continue to fight for lower taxes, improved public safety, and stronger ethics laws, despite the majority party’s misplaced priorities.
